Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

Rocknoll Energy Systems is announcing the Ribbon Cutting and unveiling of the Armco Park Solar Array and Pollinator Habitat to celebrate the newly constructed 256 kW solar array with 745 solar panels. In addition, Rocknoll Energy Systems teamed up with Ohio Pollinator Habitat Initiative to combine efforts in earth and bee conservation. This is the first of its kind in the area!

The event is open to the public and will be an opportunity to learn about the benefits of incorporating solar powered energy into the community in addition to the benefits of working together toward common conservation goals. Mayor Amy Brewer of Lebanon Ohio will be Master of Ceremony announcing the key players of the project and helping with the ribbon cutting. Larry Easterly and the WCPD board members were instrumental in getting the project approved showing forward thinking for the park and environment. Shannon Russell Pennington and others added depth to the project with the addition of the Pollinator Habitat which will be seeded in the coming month.

By attending the Ribbon Cutting ceremony you will learn more about the array, history and collaboration of the parties involved as well as Phase II which focuses on implementation of an educational kiosk and charging stations for electric cars and golf carts. So excited to celebrate this forward thinking collaboration!
